Writer/Producer Dwayne Mcduffie dies due to surgical complications

The phenomenal creative force behind the well-known cartoon character (Static Shock) and the guy solely responsible for reinvigorating DC’s straight to DVD cartoon series (Crisis on Two Earths, All Star Superman- just to name a couple) passed away this Monday, 2/21/2011.

Details are unclear at this point, speculations point to a surgical procedure that went wrong. Will provide details as they arise. Know that you are missed by many, and you’re exactly what DC needed! More info on Dwayne Mcduffie can be found here.
